The Power of Support for ADHD & Anxiety

Living with ADHD or anxiety can feel like too much on its own—but for many people, the two conditions show up together. In fact, ADHD and anxiety often overlap in ways that can make it hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. When ADHD and anxiety show up together, they can reinforce each other. Struggling with ADHD can create stress and worry, while ongoing anxiety can make it even harder to manage ADHD symptoms. Without understanding this connection, it’s easy to mislabel what’s happening—or to feel like you’re failing. ADHD and anxiety may overlap, but with the right tools, support, and strategies, you can learn to separate them, manage them, and regain a sense of balance. At My Focused Mind, we work with you to untangle these experiences, helping you move forward with confidence.

Testing

The Brown Executive Function/Attention Scales Test empowers individuals to understand where their strengths and opportunities are with executive functioning skills such as action, focus, and emotional regulation. 

ADHD Testing includes a comprehensive review of symptoms as well as the use of assessments. We use the diagnostic criteria put out by the DSM-5-TR.

Coaching

At My Focused Mind, our coaching services are designed to help you move from overwhelm to action. Coaching focuses on the “how” — how to organize your day, manage your energy, and follow through on the things that matter most.

Whether you’re navigating ADHD, anxiety, or both, coaching provides structure, accountability, and encouragement. Together, we’ll create practical tools and routines that work with your brain — not against it.

Coaching helps you turn insight into action. It’s about small, sustainable steps that add up to big changes — so you can move through life – one focused step at a time.

Coaching is available in 30-minute or 60-minute intervals online.

Body Doubling

A specialized technique for ADHD individuals that utilizes a targeted strategy to enhance focus, organization, and time management.

Psychotherapy

Our person-centered approach integrates educational psychology, holistic science, and widely accepted practices to create a wellness-focused environment. We accept insurance including: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Point32, Harvard Pilgrim, and Evernorth.
