About My Focused Mind
Specialized support for ADHD and anxiety across Massachusetts — built from both professional training and personal experience.
About Alicia
I’m Alicia, the founder of My Focused Mind, and I’m passionate about helping individuals build the skills, confidence, and clarity they need to thrive. I was born and raised in Massachusetts, where I continue to live and work today. My journey into this work began at home—supporting my own daughter—and grew into a deep commitment to helping people of all ages navigate the challenges that shape their daily lives.
My background combines clinical training, coaching experience, and real-world problem solving. I earned my Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University, a Master of Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I hold licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts (LMHC, License #13553), and carry national certifications as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). My training in project management uniquely strengthens my work with ADHD, anxiety, and executive function challenges, as it focuses heavily on planning, organization, prioritization, and follow-through—the same core skills many clients are working to develop.

In addition to my clinical work, I previously worked as an executive function coach, helping individuals develop practical systems for managing responsibilities, school, and daily life. I have also been a foster mother, an experience that deepened my understanding of how resilience, support, and stability can transform lives.
With experience across residential care, academic settings, in-home support, and outpatient therapy, I bring a versatile, grounded perspective to every session. I specialize in helping clients manage anxiety, navigate ADHD, strengthen executive function, and develop practical strategies that support focus, emotional regulation, and follow-through.

Specialized Support, Lasting Change
My Focused Mind’s mission is to provide specialized, evidence‑based support for ADHD and anxiety, blending psychotherapy, assessment, and collaborative executive function and productivity support to help clients build clarity, confidence, and lasting change.
ADHD and Anxiety Support That Meets You Where You Are
At My Focused Mind, support happens where real life happens—your home, your workspace, or wherever you feel most comfortable. Our telehealth sessions provide specialized support for ADHD and anxiety across Massachusetts, making high-quality care more accessible, flexible, and effective than traditional in-person therapy.
Comfort Leads to Better Therapy
When you attend therapy or coaching from your own environment, you’re more likely to feel relaxed and open. There’s no waiting room, no commute, and no pressure to perform in an unfamiliar office. Being in your own space allows you to show up as your real self, which helps you move deeper, faster.
Your Real Environment Tells a Story
Telehealth offers something in-person services can’t—an authentic look into the spaces where your daily challenges actually happen. Whether it’s your desk, your planner, your kitchen table, or the system you use to stay organized, sharing parts of your environment helps us better understand how ADHD and anxiety show up in your day-to-day life. This allows us to create practical strategies that work in your real world, not just in an office.
Support Designed for ADHD and Anxiety-Prone Brains
For many people with ADHD and anxiety, getting to an appointment can be one of the biggest obstacles. Telehealth removes barriers like commuting or running late. Logging in from home makes it easier to stay consistent with therapy—an important part of building lasting change.
Private, Convenient, and Accessible Across Massachusetts
Because My Focused Mind operates fully online, you can access specialized ADHD and anxiety support anywhere in Massachusetts. All you need is a private space and an internet connection.
Support That Fits Your Life
At My Focused Mind, therapy, executive function coaching, and productivity services isn’t something that happens separate from your life—it integrates with it. By meeting you in the environment where you live, work, and manage daily responsibilities, we’re able to build skills and strategies that truly stick.
Why Choose My Focused Mind
Therapy + Real-Life Support (Not One or the Other)
Many services offer therapy. Others offer coaching. My Focused Mind offers both—together. In addition to telehealth psychotherapy, you also receive practical, real-world support to help you follow through on what you’re working on in sessions. Because insight alone isn’t enough—you need help applying it in your everyday life.
Built for People Who’ve “Tried Everything”
Many clients come in feeling frustrated: “I know what to do—I just can’t get myself to do it.” That’s exactly who this is for. My Focused Mind focuses on execution, not just intention—helping you create structure, build momentum, and finally follow through.
A Personalized, Real-World Approach
There’s no one-size-fits-all plan here. Your support is tailored to:
- Your daily routines
- Your environment
- Your specific challenges
Because everything is virtual, we can even incorporate your real-life surroundings into sessions—helping you build systems that actually work where you live and function.
Support That Feels Human, Not Clinical
You’re not just another appointment.
Clients often say they feel:
- Understood without over-explaining
- Supported without judgment
- Motivated without pressure
Because the goal isn’t perfection—it’s sustainable progress.
